GUCCI Now Accepting ApeCoin as Payment at Stores in The United States

GUCCI has made even more waves in the digital realm by becoming the first company to accept ApeCoin as payment in their US locations.

For those of you who aren't familiar with ApeCoin, it is a cryptocurrency that was created by Yuga Labs, the founders Bored Ape Yacht Club. ApeCoin is a governance and utility token that poses multifunctional uses. When consumers pay using ApeCoin, they gain rare and exclusive access within the GUCCI ecosystem (IRL, metaverse, etc).

ApeCoin has already seen a surge in investors following the GUCCI announcement. The iconic fashion brand’s participation will inevitably inspire other iconic brands to accept cryptocurrency (ApeCoin and others) as payment. A Tweet by GUCCI states that they are accepting ApeCoin to widen their "House's exploration of Web3”.

Experts predict ApeCoin valuation may increase 50% due to this announcement.
